These multi-purpose tea towels are dyed first with organic indigo and then overdyed with rusty objects for added texture. The rust pattern is runs vertically. Each towel is 100% cotton, 27"x 27" and washed post dyeing.
Each towel is hand dyed with botanicals. The living color that I use evolves with time therefore colors may shift a bit, or you may find color variations. This is the beauty of natural dyes, a reflection of nature. To best take care of naturally dyed textiles: wash cold and then pop them in the dryer on low heat. Use PH neutral soap if possible.
