A Date with Indigo is time to experience the wonder of working with organic indigo. We will use the Shibori technique to design patterns using common household objects. After several dips in the indigo and once each resist is removed, a pattern first of fluorescent green will magically become a beautiful pattern of white and deep blue.
Date with Indigo is perfect for celebrations, a workshop, me time. The choice is yours. Indigo is appropriate for all ages. Children under 8 will need assistance.
I will provide the pre-treated fabric: silk scarves, cotton bandannas, onesies, tea towels, scrunchies. We will discuss the best option to fit the occasion.
The Date with Indigo is an outdoor experience. I will provide all materials, equipment and drop cloths for easy clean-up.
The total cost per person is $120 for a 4 hour session. For groups of more than 4 a flat fee including material costs will be determined accordingly.
